John & Linda
(back in the day)
John and I were raised in
the country and as children we developed a love of
animals and the outdoors. This has carried over into our
adult life and is now a part of our daily routine. In my
early adulthood I worked for some great companies and it
was at one of these companies that I met the love of my
life. After my marriage, I got the opportunity to return
to the things I loved as a child back on the farm. I
along with my family work each day on our farm.
Please allow us
to introduce ourselves. We are the Shoemakers. Of
course, I’m the Mrs., Linda, my husband, John, son,
Joshua, daughter, RaeAnn and all of our many critters.
With all the residential
growth and city expansion, farming in our area has
almost disappeared. For this reason, we have decided to
open our farm to visitors. By creating this web site, we
are able to share a part of the farm with you. However,
we would like to invite you to come see us and
experience the farm firsthand. Be sure to view the

learning opportunity for children and adults alike.
